After arriving on a night flight at Tiska Djanet Airport , you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your comfortable desert accommodation near Djanet or the tihay Tours guesthouse . Here , you can relax and recharge , in anticipation for the exciting adventure that lies ahead .
After breakfast , we’ll depart towards the South , heading to the Tiska Mountains . We pass by Tin - Amali , then follow the cliffs of the Tassili N'Ajjer to reach the Tadrart massif . Bivouac in the In -Djaren riverbed , at the entrance of Tadrart .
From the In - Djaren canyon , stopping at numerous rock paintings and engravings , arriving at Moul - n - Aga by the end of the day where dunes climb up to the cliff . Bivouac at the foot of the dunes .
Progression towards the immense dune cirque of Tin -Merzouga where the dunes turn red . Climbing Tin Merzouga to view the mars -like surroundings at sunset . Bivouac in the dunes .
Through the labyrinth of canyons , we progress towards Bouhediane , In -Tehok, Tissitika, exiting In-Djaren . Bivouac.
After leaving the In - Djaren riverbed , crossing the vast expanses leading to Monkhor and Alidemma . Bivouac .
Crossing the northern Ténéré, where the dunes of the Erg Admer come into view . Stop at the Tagharhart site to admire the engravings. Bivouac near the "Crying Cow" .
Return to Djanet by late morning . Settle in at the tihay Tours house . In the afternoon , visit the town and market . Dinner and transfer to the airport late in the evening .
